You like him/her more than a friend and are developing romantic love. What should you do?

You want to tell your friend about your feelings. But you are not very sure about them yourself. Have you really crossed the relationship of friendship and developed romantic love? You are thinking about that and the more you think the more you get confused. Emotions are like that. They can play havoc with us.

After lot of deliberation, you have decided that the feelings of love are true and figments of your imagination. Should you tell your friend? What if he/she does not reciprocate? What will happen to the friendship?

This is a difficult situation. You don’t wish to sacrifice your friendship, but if your friend does not reciprocate that will happen.

Will betting on the road toll be next?

0 Comments | Dominion Post; Wellington, New Zealand, Sep 1, 2010

I’m no wowser, but the Pakistan cricket betting scandal is a reminder that betting on sport is getting out of hand (Sport, August 30). Fair enough to bet on the outcome of a game, but why during it?

When watching sport on TV these days, I’m accosted by advertisements encouraging me to bet on the outcome of a fixture while it’s being played. The multitude of scenarios we can bet on is also astonishing. I can probably get odds on which rugby league player farts first in a scrum.

What really astounds, though, is the sheer gall of promoters who then insult me with the oxymoron: “Bet responsibly”

Business Brokers often

By admin September 4th, 2010, under Uncategorized

Business Brokers often double as business appraisers. I see a real problem with business brokers and their valuations teams it seems like a huge conflict of interest to me. Many times the business broker sales person is also a licensed business evaluator. But the job should be done by a CPA or a non-involved ?Certified Business Appraiser? and not the same Business Broker making the listing for the sale of that business.

See: http://www.cpa2biz.com

Other books on this subject I found relevant are:

?A CPAs Guide to Valuing a Closely Held Business? by Gary Trugman.

?The Value Reporting Revolution: Moving Beyond the Earnings Game? by Robert Eccles.

One should find it ironic that a sales man for a business broker company can tell a prospect anything he wants to and then in the purchase agreement and even the deposit agreement from the buyer have a clause in the contract that says something to the effect that you have done your due diligence and nothing we have said verbally or in writing was used to affect your decision.

Hey there, Have you been seeing your

By admin September 4th, 2010, under Uncategorized

Hey there,

Have you been seeing your doctor a little too much lately? Headaches here, chest pains there???..shortness of breath, feeling weak, dizzy, and lethargic.

A nasty virus going around?

Not likely.

Something you caught from your kids?

Probably not.

Well, what is it?

Would you believe (and you should) that it could be that you?re overweight and/or out of shape?

?No way, it can?t be!? you say??..I mean you?re supposed to drag yourself throughout the day eating chips, drinking caffeine laced beverages, and exercising your fingers on the keyboard.

?That?s how life supposed to be????..you say, work like crazy???make as much money as possible regardless of the health risks??retire (while being overweight and out of shape) and spend a good amount of your retirement visiting your local doctor and hospital waiting for that new breakthrough surgery to suck up all that fat from your arteries. Unfortunately, this is often true of many people nowadays. How can you possibly stop this and decrease the possibility (exponentially, I might add) that you have to spend your retirement years pitching a tent at your doctor?s office.

Get moving.

Start a fitness program???..try to do a pushup (you should be able to do more than 1, by the way)???take a brisk walk around the neighborhood??..take a jog with your dog up and down the street??..try to do 10 crunches??just start something! More importantly, stick with it.

That?s all you need??..just 2 little things.

Start with something???.and stick with it.

2 simple, yet powerful actions.

Florida PSC Approves Larger Rebates For Natural Gas Appliances

Business Wire, August 31, 2010

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — From the $1500
tankless water heater tax credit to multiple Florida utilities
offering up to $1350
in cash rebates on new appliances, the incentives to include natural
gas seem to be ever-expanding. And with the Florida Public Service
Commissions (PSC) recent decision to increase
cash rebates, it will be more feasible than ever for homeowners to
build with or switch to natural gas.

Increasing by up to $150 per energy-efficient natural gas appliance,
larger cash rebates will take a bigger load off the appliance purchase
price encouraging substantial, long-term energy savings. This supports
statewide conservation initiatives by driving greater participation and
interest in the Residential
Appliance Replacement Program, Residential Appliance Retention
Program and Residential New Construction Program.

Natural gas appliances generally eligible for conservation rebates
include tank/tankless
water heaters, ranges,
clothes
dryers and furnaces

colors blend at a molecular level and become amorphous; whereas digital art is grainy if viewed up close, even at the highest resolutions. The sad reality is; digital art is taking over. Not many artists can afford to stick with the traditional media and only turn out one piece of art per month. Only the most elite and conspicuous of traditional artists will survive the digital age.

For more serious cases, hiring

By admin September 4th, 2010, under Uncategorized

For more serious cases, hiring a lawyer will let the insurance companies know that you are serious about the case at hand and can often help the process move along more thoroughly. No insurance company or defendant wants to deal with a lengthily lawsuit as they are paying the people on their side for their time as well. Remember, the absence of legal representation can put you in a fairly adverse position.

There are several important questions that need to be asked once you have found a personal injury lawyer including:

? What rights do I have that need to be protected?

? What claim letters need to be sent; how many insurance companies must be notified? Will you do this for me?

? How long have you and your law firm been practicing law?

? When will I be charged? How much?

? Will I be charged a legal fee if you do not recover money for me?

? Who will pay my medical bills; physical therapy bills; drug bills; transportation expenses; temporary or permanent household help; lost income; property damage; and pain and suffering?

Never feel apprehensive about asking questions of your lawyer.

By admin September 4th, 2010, under Uncategorized

Gordon’s win yesterday is his 9th career win at a road course making him the most decorated road course driver in NASCAR’s history.

After starting 11th, Gordon was able to rocket himself through the field and take over the top position in just 50 laps. The entire #24 DuPont team was solid throughout the entire race. Jeff never missed a mark, never spun out, restarted perfectly after every caution while his team posted some of the fastest times of the day on pit road. This kind of a performance is reminiscent of Gordon during his previous championship seasons.

The big question is can Gordon and his team maintain this championship form as they head into the remaining 10 races before the Chase for the Championship? Next week, NASCAR heads to Daytona for the Pepsi 400 where Jeff Gordon has been dominate. In 28 races at Daytona, Jeff has 6 wins, 11 top 5 finishes, and 16 top 10 finishes. For the math challenged, that means on average Gordon finishes in the top 10 in over half the races. If Gordon wants to qualify for NASCAR’s Nextel Cup Chase for the Championship, he’ll need to maintain his average at Daytona and finish with another top 10.

Who’s Not?

The dates have changed, but the faces have not in this week’s Who’s Not section.

By admin September 3rd, 2010, under Uncategorized

But, managing growth will never be the same as managing the status quo. Large and / or fast growth creates a need for change; things are naturally different, chaotic, confusing, and sometimes inefficient and difficult to control. People will be unsettled by the change that growth produces. There can be a perception of ?winners and losers.? The best way to insure its success is to plan for growth carefully ? and never take for granted that your business is strong enough to pull it off without some problems along the way.
